Alpino is operated by Sentra d.o.o., registered in Slovenia, EU. We are the data controller for personal data collected through alpino.fit. For privacy matters, contact us at privacy@alpino.fit.

We collect the following personal data when you interact with alpino.fit:

• Email address — when you sign up for the waitlist or place a reservation
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe; we do not store card numbers
• IP address and browser data — collected automatically via standard server logs and analytics
• Cookie data — see Section 7 below

We do not collect sensitive personal data. We do not collect data from children — our website is directed at parents and guardians aged 18 and over.

We use your personal data only for the following purposes:

• To process and confirm your reservation
• To send you updates about Alpino product development and delivery timeline
• To process refunds if applicable
• To improve our website and marketing (anonymised analytics only)
• To comply with legal obligations

We will never sell your personal data to third parties. We will never use your email address for unrelated marketing without your explicit consent.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process your data on the following legal bases:

• Contract performance — to fulfil your reservation
• Legitimate interests — to improve our product and communicate project updates to reservation holders
• Consent — for any marketing communications beyond reservation updates

We share your data only with the following trusted processors, strictly as necessary:

• Stripe — payment processing (Stripe, Inc., USA — covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses)
• Hosting provider — website hosting (covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses)
• Email service provider — for transactional and update emails

All processors are bound by data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above:

• Reservation data: until the product ships or the project is cancelled, plus 2 years for legal compliance
• Email marketing: until you unsubscribe
• Payment records: 7 years (legal requirement for accounting purposes)

alpino.fit uses the following cookies:

• Essential cookies — required for the website to function (session, security)
• Analytics cookies — anonymised visitor statistics (no personal identification)
• Marketing cookies — Meta Pixel, used only if you have consented

We take data security seriously. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Payment data is processed entirely by Stripe and never stored on our servers. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify reservation holders of any material changes by email. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
