Refund Policy
Short version: Your €1 is always refundable. No questions asked, no time limit, no hassle. If we don't ship, you get it back automatically.
1. Pre-order Reservation Refunds
Your €1 reservation deposit is fully refundable at any time before your watch ships. There is no deadline, no cancellation fee, and no questions asked.
To request a refund of your reservation deposit, simply email hello@alpino.fit with the subject line "Refund Request" and the email address used for your reservation. We will process your refund within 5 business days.
2. If Alpino Cancels the Project
In the event that we are unable to deliver the Alpino watch — for any reason — all reservation holders will receive a full refund of their €1 deposit automatically. You do not need to request this. We will email you to confirm the refund has been processed.
We commit to issuing all project cancellation refunds within 14 days of the cancellation announcement.
Note on processing fees: Stripe's payment processing fee (approximately €0.25–0.30 per transaction) is non-recoverable on our end. In the unlikely event of project cancellation, we will refund the full €1 from our own funds to ensure you receive your complete deposit back.
3. Remaining Balance (€98 at Shipping)
The remaining €98 balance will only be charged when your watch is ready to ship. You will receive an email notification at least 7 days before this charge, giving you the opportunity to cancel your reservation and receive a full refund before any further payment is taken.
If the €98 charge has already been processed and you wish to cancel before delivery, contact us at hello@alpino.fit within 14 days of the charge for a full refund of the remaining balance.
4. Returns After Delivery
Once the Alpino watch has been delivered, our standard return policy applies:
- 14-day return window from the date of delivery (EU statutory right)
- Product must be returned in original condition and packaging
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is faulty
- Refund of the device price (€99) will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item
- Subscription fees already charged will not be refunded for partial months used
5. Faulty or Damaged Products
If your Alpino watch arrives damaged or develops a manufacturing fault within the warranty period (12 months from delivery), we will:
- Replace the device at no cost, or
- Issue a full refund of the device price

6. Subscription Cancellation
Your monthly subscription (Alpino Basic or Alpino Connected) can be cancelled at any time from within the Alpino parent app or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months, except where required by applicable law.
7. How Refunds Are Processed
All refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the reservation. Processing times:
- Stripe refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank
- We will email you confirmation when the refund has been initiated
